Roots In Zuidoost X Amarte
On September 28 we welcome you to Amsterdam Zuidoost, at the Heesterveld Creative Community, for a day full of music, dance, theater and workshops during Roots in Zuidoost x Amarte! From 13:00 to 19:00 you can enjoy a freely accessible program suitable for all ages. Together with the Amarte Fund and Heesterveld Creative Community, we offer a stage to talented makers who celebrate creativity and culture. The program brings together diverse backgrounds for a unique cultural exchange.

40 years Amsterdam Roots!
Amsterdam Roots sees great value in cultural traditions. Music styles such as hip-hop, flamenco and reggaeton stem from traditions that go back decades and even centuries at the base. We want to show through performing arts and stories how enriching and inspiring traditions are.
