For decades the Bimhuis has been the stage for groundbreaking musicians of all generations, from home and abroad. Since 2018 Amsterdam Roots and Bimhuis expanded their collaboration, with a concert-series dedicated to celebrating music from countries ranging from India to Brazil.

The concerts on Saturday 21st March by 3MA ft Ballaké Sissoko, Driss-el-maloumi and Rajery and on Wednesday 29th April by Shabaka and the Ancestors have unfortunately been cancelled. The Bimhuis is closed until at least the 1st of June due to the corona virus.

More information about the concerts during Amsterdam Roots Festival 2020 will follow as soon as possible.
