Fenix Theater – The Fanfare

Fenix Theatre makers are coming to Amsterdam Roots Festival with their new performance 'The Fanfare'. A short performance that starts on the festival grounds and takes the audience to the exhibition of No Limits! Arts Castle.
The performance 'The Fanfare' is about a group of villagers who meet every week at during rehearsals at the community centre. They actually have very little in common and they are looking for new members for the brass band. However, intrigue and confusion causes unrest among the musicians. Each appears to have their own agenda. Will the chairman get everyone back on the same page or will they return home unhappy?

Fenix is a professional theatre company for actors, dancers and theatre-makers with intellectual disabilities. All performances and acts are created with input from the theatre-makers themselves, always creating a unique story with an original script.

The Fanfare plays twice, starting at 14:30 and 16:30 at No Limits! Arts Castle.

NINJA DANCE WORKSHOP

After the 2.30pm performance, the Fenix players will give a Ninja Dance workshop in the tent at No Limits! Arts Castle.
